Rivellie has over 15 years of experience in project management (pure and applied research, agricultural and environmental economics, agricultural policy evaluation, sector analysis, and international development) in Canada, France, the United Kingdom, Germany, the Netherlands, Slovakia, Italy, and Belgium.
Since 2018, Rivellie offered her expertise and knowledge to many committees at the Federal level of Canada to enhance innovation. She is actually part of applied research tools and Instrument grants (ARTI), Innovation enhancement grant (IE), Industrial research chair for college grant (ICCR), College, and community social innovation fund (CCSIF), and many others.
Prior to Founding Seedcha, Rivellie worked as a project manager and analyst at Coop Carbone in Montreal. She was also a consultant in agricultural policy analysis at the OECD, in charge of research jointly with the National Agronomic Research Institute of Paris (INRA) and the Countryside and Community Research Institute in the United Kingdom (CCRI), as well as director of many international organisations.
Rivellie holds an International MSc in Rural Development from the European Erasmus Mundus Scholarship Program in six countries (France, Germany, Belgium, Italy, the Netherlands, and Slovakia). She is also graduated as an Agricultural and Agronomy Engineer with a specialization in management and financing of agricultural and agri-food companies.
Rivellie is currently a Ph.D candidate at the Institue of Environmental Sciences at the University of Quebec in Montreal where she works on the role of women in agrienvironmental policies.
